WHS Blood Drive

Good Morning and Happy Pajama-Day WHS!

It is great to see the high level of participation throughout the school on today’s Pajama Day. We all look like a bunch of zombies as it is, to add to that go down to the Gymnasium to donate your blood at our bi-annual American Red Cross Blood Drive! This serves at a great way to give back to the community as well as the world. If you did not have the oppurtunity to donate today we will be back  in the Winter!

You don’t need a special reason to give blood.
You just need your own reason.

  • Some of us give blood because we were asked by a friend.
  • Some know that a family member or a friend might need blood some day.
  • Some believe it is the right thing we do.

Whatever your reason, the need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply.  And  you’ll feel good knowing you’ve helped change a life.

You will receive a mini physical to check your:

  • Pulse
  • Blood pressure
  • Body temperature
  • Hemoglobin
